Journalism is not a job. It’s a calling. Journalists have a solemn responsibility to write the first draft of history. The work we do is crucial.

I am committed to not only informing the public, but doing so in a way that enlightens us about bigger truths — our strengths, weaknesses, common beliefs and emotions. It is through that kind of deep understanding that journalists can help all of us coexist in peace and mutual respect.

I have worked at a number of outlets throughout my career. I love experimenting, trying new formats and media, and storytelling in ways that connect with audiences.
